Taking advantage of creative scheduling has allowed me to take a nice vaca with the family. Day one had me at home, sleeping, doing laundry, and packing. Day two was a nice drive from Albuquerque to Phoenix with some interesting temperature changes along the way. I rolled out of ABQ at 0505 with the outside temp saying it was 33 degrees. When I stopped in Gallup to rid myself of the Diet Cherry Coke and get fuel, the temp was a brisk 14 degrees. The next stop was in Camp Verde for fuel and coffee and things were looking up...it was a whopping 47 degrees. I arrived in Tempe to 72 degrees and a fresh ham sandwich composed by Unc.
After a few days in Phoenix, resting and relaxing, and eating Unc's good cooking, we are off to meet the rest of the family in Vegas! More to follow, with pictures, barring any complications:)
