Everyone that knows me, knows that my first love is now Apple products. They just make things that WORK. I was so terribly resistant to change, talking smack about Apple, Steve Job's kool-aid, etc, etc...until I needed a laptop that didn't require constant virus updates, spam scanning, and lack of blue screen of death. I purchased my first Mac product and have not looked back. I am now the proud owner of an iPhone 4, an iPad 2, a Mac Book Pro, an iPod Nano, and a plethora of Apple branded accessories.
The Mac Book Pro was purchased in March of 2009. At two years old, it still works as well as it did off of the showroom floor. I still look at it in amazement when it boots up. It looks as svelte and sleek as it did when we met. I love not having to worry about maintenance, updates, viruses, and the mess that came along with owning a PC.
Another major reason I have gone "All Apple All The Time" is because of how well they play together in the sandbox. With the use of Mobile Me, all of my contacts, email, and calendar events remain in sync across the Mac Book, the iPad, and my iPhone. I input information once, and it's replecated and placed in it's respective place on all of my devices. I also enjoy the fact that I can use the same charger and cable for my small mobile devices. Everything just works.
If you are looking for a computer that just works, requires less drama, and will be around more than a year, I suggest you look to Apple Computers. Up next post: My biased review of the iPad 2.
